Comedians Never Laugh

I think this is a funny shot. It's all in the middle which completely destroys the rule of thirds. It also has a low contrast so that is another downer. It is out of focus and imperfect.... but it is one of my favorite shots. And when ever I look at it I laugh.

And I think it is because people spend so long trying to make something correct that they forget what real art is.

Do You Think?

I'm just wondering how other people feel about art. Do you think it is a thing that has to be perfect. Do you think a real beauty has to follow all the rules. Or do you think that real art is a complete creation of your self. Does it have to be aesthetically quantifiable, follow all those composition rules, or is it just the opposite. Just wondering.

My name is Levi. I have sleeping troubles so any amount of it is a relief. I like to take photos of random things. I do not think of my photos of art, merely reflections of a moment and the feelings creating by such. And I think any photo as a sense of art, instilling a moment within its silvery layers. Yet the true art is not the photo, but the tool itself. The beauty comes in the camera and we owe ourselves to it. We control nothing, but rather, it controls us. And though we may change arperture and exposure and et cetera it is up to the camera to make a portrait.
